Mission:
The mission of the El Paso Federation of Families is to focus on the needs of children and adolescents experiencing emotional, behavioral, and/or mental illness and their families. The El Paso Federation of Families is committed to: Providing families with needed emotional and informational support. Advocating for children and families to receive needed supports and services. Educating families about their rights and the array of accessible high qauality, family centered services available. The Federation collaborates with schools, communities, governmental and private agencies and other advocacy organizations to achieve these ends.

Description:
The local geographic area of focus consists of El Paso County. We are a local chapter of the Federation of Families for Children's Mental Health. Project BRAVO believes in the concept of case management, which aims to provide assistance and follow-up to empower families. Management does this by helping these families to become economically and socially self-sufficient.

Organization role:
• Provide family to family or youth to youth support on an individual family or youth level (e.g., peer-to-peer, family support partners, parent navigators)
• Provide education to families or youth on issues of interest
• Provide training and mentoring of family members or youth (e.g., to assume leadership roles, act as provider)
• Provide advocacy
• Conduct social marketing
