Mission:
Families Together in New York State is a non-profit, family-run organization that strives to establish a unified voice for children and youth with emotional, behavioral, and social challenges. Our mission is to ensure that every family has access to needed information, support, and services.

Description:
Our organization is a statewide chapter of the Federation of Families for Children's Mental Health, and a SAMSHA CMHS funded Statewide Family Network organization. Our organization serves the following: Statewide; Locally - Families Together in New Yourk State partners with Albany County for the development of the system of care: Families Together in Albany County. Regionally - Families Together in New York State has chapters in each region of New York State. They are listed at : www.ftnys.org/chapters.htm

• Provide family to family or youth to youth support on an individual family or youth level (e.g., peer-to-peer, family support partners, parent navigators)
• Provide education to families or youth on issues of interest
• Provide training and mentoring of family members or youth (e.g., to assume leadership roles, act as provider)

• Provide technical assistance (e.g., to other family or youth organizations, child serving agencies)
