Population Other:
We serve children and adults wih any type of developmental disability or delay, ages birth through adulthood, as well as pregnant women at social or emotional risk for a poor birth outcome.

Mission:
The mission of United Cerebral Palsy of Tampa Bay (UCP) is to guide and assist families and individuals with any disability or other barrier to achieve their full potential, resulting in community inclusion and independence.

Description:
UCP of Tampa Bay utilizes a comprehensive approach to services, characterized by a focus on the entire family and based on the goals of the client, with measurable outcomes and results. At our Henry Avenue campus, we offer pediatric speech, occupational, and physical therapy services for children birth through 21 years of age. These services include screenings, comprehensive evaluations, and individualized treatment sessions. Therapy services are also provided at our Sun City location. In addition, we have our Early Childhood Education programs. These encompass our inclusionary preschool for children 6 weeks through 5 years of age. We welcome both children with or without special needs. We also have our Early Education Center for Autism for children 3 through 4 years of age. We provide in-home Respite services for children and adults with disabilities in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties. These services are offered for caregivers seeking relief from the everyday stresses and demands associated with the care of a child or adult with special needs or an elderly relative. Our Supported Employment and Supported Living services provide community based services for adults with disabilities. Supported Employment services assist individuals with disabilities obtain and retain community based jobs. Supported Living services enable individuals with disabilities the opportunity to live independently within the community. These programs serve individuals living in Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, and Hernando counties. UCP provides home based Early Intervention services in Hernando and Pasco counties, to children ages birth through 3 years of age.
