To provide support, education and advocacy to children/youth with emotional, behavioral and mental health challenges and their families in Central Florida.

The vision of the Federation of Families is to approach the system of care through a family and youth-driven approach, children and youth with emotional, behavioral and mental health challenges and their families obtain needed supports and services so that children grow up healthy and able to maximize their potential. Organization role: Provide informal family monthly meetings in Orange & Seminole County. Provide single parents & grandparents monthly meeting in Seminole County. Workshops/training's for families, providers and the community. Individualized Education Program assistance and advocacy Peer-to-Peer Support Outreach & Resources Organization

Organization role:
• Provide family to family or youth to youth support on an individual family or youth level (e.g., peer-to-peer, family support partners, parent navigators)
• Sponsor/run support groups for families or youth
• Provide education to families or youth on issues of interest
• Provide training and mentoring of family members or youth (e.g., to assume leadership roles, act as provider)
• Provide training and presentations to system of care/child serving agencies or community
• Participate in child serving system/system of care policy-making and leadership groups
• Participate in child serving system/system of care management meetings
• Provide quality monitoring and evaluation
• Provide advocacy
• Conduct research
• Conduct social marketing
